Our brunch kicked off with a pick from the cold station, where we dived into a spread of cold cuts. The smoked salmon and mackerel were delicately cured and packed with flavour, while the chicken mortadella was smooth and subtly spiced. To balance things out, we grabbed a couscous salad, bursting with colour and zest, and a creamy pasta salad that added a comforting, rich contrast to the savoury meats. After easing in with the lighter fare, we moved on to the hot station and loaded up on heartier options. The grilled sausages stole the show with their perfect char and juicy bite. The sour beef roast delivered a tangy punch, and the lamb roast impressed with its crispy exterior and tender, flavour-packed meat—definitely the highlights of a cosy, satisfying spread. Separately, we scooped up some creamy mashed potatoes and paired our course with a rich beef gravy.

Dessert was a no-brainer: a trip to the self-serve ice cream station. We treated ourselves to scoops of smooth vanilla and strawberry, topped with a mix of fun extras. To wrap things up on a refreshing note, we helped ourselves to crisp apples, sweet grapes, and juicy watermelon.
