Super Easy Paneer Makhani
This is one of those royal dishes served in restaurants but its not until recently that I learned how easy it is to make it at home and that too in quick time. The dish is a hit at any get together and is a must have on the dinner table! Also a favorite among kids!

Ingredients
- 1 packet Amul Malai Paneer (you can use fresh paneer as well)
- 1 cup crushed tomato or tomato paste or tomato puree
- 200 ml Fresh cream
- Whole Garam Masala (1-2 bay leaves, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 2-3 peppercorns)
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
Method
In a pan, heat the ghee and add the whole garam masala spices. Saute until fragrant.
Add the ginger garlic paste and saute until raw smell of garlic goes away.
Add the tomato puree or crushed tomatoes to the pan and bring to boil.
Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt. Stir well.
Add the fresh cream to the mixture. After stirring add in the kasuri methi leaves and mix well.
Now add the paneer cubes and cook for 3-4 minutes. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with naan or chapatis.
