Try the limited-edition menu, specially curated just for January, at this warm and inviting New York specialist bakery and restaurant. Expect signature specials with an elevated twist, featuring re-imagined favourites such as eggs benedict (salmon latke and soft-shell crab), pancakes and waffles (raspberry chocolate, maple pecan, banana and passionfruit curd), to name a few dishes.

Lakeview Restaurant
Enjoy an al fresco breakfast overlooking the Dubai Creek and the iconic Golf Course. Magnolia Bakery
This all-time favourite banana pudding is now available as a gluten-free version. Interestingly, this launch is the result of customer requests who follow a gluten-free diet. The pudding retains its signature taste and features gluten-free vanilla wafers, cream vanilla pudding and bananas. There’s always room for dessert, sometimes more if it’s Magnolia’s banana pudding.
Available at Dubai Festival City mall, the Dubai Mall, Galleria Mall, Palm Jumeirah and The Galleria.
TBK
Who doesn’t love a juicy steak? The American-Italian eatery has added a new dish to their menu, The Steak and Fries. If you’re craving a succulent piece of meat, order this, which arrives with TBK’s secret sauce poured over. Other dishes on the menu range from light salads to classic burgers, pastas and crispy wings.
Available daily from 12:30-11pm. Priced at AED 180. Call +9714 340 0222.
Back to Grills
We love a good homegrown concept, and this is definitely one to try. The restaurant offers unique international cuisines every month. This January, tuck into Afghan cuisine, known for rich, spiced and wholesome flavours. And don’t miss the Afghani pulao. The dish features fragrant rice with juicy meat and spices, slow cooked to perfection, topped with dried fruits.
