Gather your family, friends, colleagues or loved ones this Ramadan and head over to the five-star resort on the East Crescent of the world-famous Palm Jumeirah.
Prepare for a warm Polynesian welcome, fused together with exceptional Arabic hospitality amidst French elegance. Tuck into a selection of local and regional Arabic cuisine, along with mouthwatering International plates and Ramadan-inspired beverages.
Iftar at Maui Beach Restaurant
As sunset approaches in the distant Palm Jumeirah skyline, prepare for a sumptuous Iftar buffet with a selection of Moroccan and Persian themed soups, salads, bites, mains, sides and desserts for every palate.
Begin with an Iftar-special juice and cold mezze, comprising fattoush, jarjir, vine leaves, musakah and more. Visit the salad station for an array of salads such as pulled Asian chicken salad, creamy potato and smoked salmon salad, Thai beef salad, marinated octopus and wakame salad and a cumin scented roasted cauliflower salad. Or, put together your own favourite salad from the impressive salad bar.
Before you move on to the hot dishes, create your personal cheeseboard from the selection of halloumi, gouda and cheddar on display, complemented by walnuts, cheese crackers, apricot jam, dry prunes and grapes.
When you’ve had your fill of the smaller plates, enjoy spinach fatayer, meat kibbeh, lamb and za’atar manakeesh, along with a wholesome lentil soup, shorba fareek or lamb barley soup. Tuck into a traditional lamb ouzi, kebabs from the live grill station and warm shawarmas made to order. Savour lamb shakriya, chicken mulakhiya and shrimp seyhadiya from the Arabic station; the Asian station offers Thai fish curry and kadai paneer; the Western station brings beef lasagna, chicken stroganoff and rosemary potato and cottage pie; and so much more.
The dessert offerings are plentiful with funafa, baklava, Umm Ali, gulab jamun, cheese cake, yuzu mandarin tart, chocolate brownies and tart au chocolat. If you prefer something lighter, visit the fruit, dates and nuts stations for a sweet treat.
