Head to INTI, a new hotspot in Downtown Dubai, for tempting Japanese-Peruvian fusion fare; followed by sips at the private lounge Waska in the same space
Dubai has a new Japanese-Peruvian dining destination, sited in The Dubai Edition Hotel, with stunning views overlooking the glittering Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai District. The term INTI, has origins from the ancient Incan sun god.
The rooftop restaurant, set on the 23rd floor of the hotel with private access via elevator, was designed by renowned architect Lazaro Rosa Violan and boasts polished wooden elements adorned by luscious greenery throughout the venue. The space also features an exclusive wooden panel installation showcasing Inca scriptures that are trademarked and exclusive to the Dubai property.
At INTI, seafood is the star of the menu. Expect an array of signature and non-traditional ceviche, including Hamachi accompanied by jalapeño leche de tigre; followed by a serving of Tuna tar-tar and truffle yuzu; and Tiraditos, sea bass dressed with maracuja and jalapeño.
The culinary journey into Peru continues with the Bao featuring smoked brisket and Panca BBQ and Anticuchos of squid, corn or chicken.
The main course reveals sumptuous fare with dishes such as the Yakiniku, a 72-hour braised beef short rib topped with yakiniku sauce; or Cordero with succulent grilled lamb chops flavoured with togarashi and garnished with nori.
End your Nikkei culinary journey on a sweet note with Churros, a white chocolate cheesecake and maracuja sorbet, or a luscious molten chocolate chip dessert with vanilla ice cream and a caramelized pecan topping. A carefully curated selection of ice creams and sorbets is also available.
Carry on the after-party with upbeat tunes from INTI’s resident DJ; or make your way to Waska, the chic and intimate lounge setting within INTI that reveals a ceiling covered in 700 LED starry lights. Sip on creatively-mixed beverages in an ambiance of mystical glamour.
