Created by:

Chef Sin Keun Choi (‘SK’).

Composition:

The Chilli Butter Lobster at Ronin is a true fusion of Asian and Western influences, combining a rich garlic lobster bisque curry with Korean miso. The dish gets a kick from jalapeño and a hint of buttery peanut undertones, inspired by Chef SK’s culinary experiences in the USA. Grilled live over the Robatayaki charcoal grill – one of Ronin’s four signature cooking techniques, alongside Teppanyaki, Sushi, and Kushiyaki – the lobster takes on a smoky, charred flavour, adding depth to the dish and making it an interactive dining experience to remember.

On the palate:

Each bite delivers a complex blend of spice, warmth, and umami. The dish has a comforting yet exciting depth, with the creamy bisque providing richness while the miso and jalapeño add layers of flavour and heat.

What makes it special?

The Chilli butter lobster is a celebration of Chef SK’s culinary journey, blending influences from his Asian roots, Western experiences, and a dash of personal creativity. The live Robatayaki grilling experience adds a visual and sensory element that makes the dish even more memorable.

Best paired with:
