Homestead at The Yard Dubai promises to serve up delicious artisanal breads and pastries in a laidback setting
Brand-new restaurant Homestead restaurant and bakery launched this week at the city’s new food hotspot The Yard. The restaurant will serve up freshly made bread, pastries and cake throughout the day, along with a wide range of Middle Eastern and Asain flavours. The restaurant will mix Emirati, Indian and Persian flavours, along with some popular international dishes. For those on a health kick there are also plenty of detox options available on the menu, and many of the ingredients are sustainably sourced and organic.

Diners may recognize head chef Mahmoud Efranjyeh from popular reality MBC series Top Chef which he appeared in last year. Chef Mahmoud will be cooking up many of his signature dishes including lamb machbous, diyay tahta, kebab Emirati, butter chicken, saffron risotto, double-baked goat cheese and walnut soufflé, and healthy salads.
Meanwhile head pastry chef Marinos Kosmas will be preparing fresh peach melbas, labneh saffron cheesecakes, saffron milk cakes, and Greek-style savoury pies including spanakopita.
