Sponsored: Ushna Restaurant invites guests to celebrate Diwali with a blend of authentic Indian flavours and modern cooking techniques
Aptly named after the Hindi word for “warmth,” Ushna offers a festive Diwali Set Menu in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, promising a delightful feast for all.
The vegetarian set menu, priced at AED100, starts with appetisers such as Dahi Ke Kabab, made with paneer and hung curd, and Achari Paneer Tikka, featuring barbeque-roasted cottage cheese marinated in Indian pickle spices. Tandoori Mushrooms and Broccoli, cooked in tandoor with creamy spices, complete the appetiser selection. For the mains, diners can choose between Achari Paneer Tikka with palak gravy or Subz Dum Degh, a vegetable dish in roasted nut and sesame seed gravy. The meal is paired with Green Peas Mushroom Pilau and Tandoori Breads, ending with a classic dessert of Gulab Jamun and Carrot Halwa.
The non-vegetarian set menu, priced at AED150, features starters such as Tandoori Fish Tikka, Haryali Murgh Tikka, and Achari Murgh. For the mains, choose between Murgh Kali Mirch, a creamy black pepper chicken dish, or Mutton Rogan Josh, slow-cooked with Kashmiri red chillies and yoghurt. Accompaniments include Green Peas Mushroom Pilau and Tandoori Breads, with a sweet finish of Kesar Rasmalai, milk dumplings topped with strawberry jam and sweet Bondi.
Ushna’s Diwali set menus offer a well-rounded dining experience, ideal for celebrating with family and friends in a welcoming atmosphere.
