The two Michelin-starred Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara is now open in the iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

The ground floor of the majestic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is where discerning diners can find an exquisite pop-up of the famed L’Olivo, the only two Michelin-starred restaurant on the island of Capri. Here, Italian culinary craftmanship and flavours of the sea are combined to create a stunning new dining destination, bought to you by acclaimed Chef Andrea Migliaccio of Capri Palace Jumeirah.

The elegant pop-up Ristorante L’Olivo offers sublime Mediterranean flavours and innovative dishes under the alluring glow of the coral reef aquarium, that stands proudly at the heart of Al Mahara. Upon entering the venue, diners are treated to a glittering gold entrance, a vibrant and bold marine inspired setting featuring shimmering metallic walls and velvet navy blue accents, amidst other luxurious décor.

Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara offers a menu starring a sampling of the signature flavours available at its counterpart at Capri Palace Jumeirah.

“The menu at Ristorante L’Olivo is inspired by simple principles,” comments Chef Andrea Migliaccio. “I want to share an intense journey of authentic flavours from Capri and the Mediterranean, where I grew up.”

From Merluzzo nero black cod served with spinach and sundried tomatoes and finished with coffee and liquorice, to delicate ribbons of Tagliolini perfectly paired with tuna fish tartare, bottarga and finished with zucchini and a squeeze of lime; and Blue lobster with saffron, raspberries and sweet and sour vegetables to a creamy Risotto with fresh lemon, red prawns, oyster leaf and a creamy bisque, diners are in for a memorable dining experience.

You can choose to dine à la carte or indulge in a specially designed Tasting Menu, created by Chef Migliaccio, which offers the crème de la crème of the dishes at Ristorante L’Olivo. Sit back and enjoy five sinful courses, starting with Scampi langoustine served with green apple, yogurt, oyster leaves and caviar and ending with Nocciole e limone, a glorious Gianduja mousse, hazelnut crunch and lemon sorbet.
