Named after one of Gary Rhodes’ best-selling books, the wonderful weekend event emphasises the gathering of friends and family “At The Table”, evoking a sense of togetherness among those present. The Saturday evening experience also pays homage to Gary Rhodes’ philosophy on social dining, encouraging diners to share and indulge in each dish served to the table.
To kick things off, Rhodes W1’s Head Chef Alex Mobsby has rustled up a sharing-style selection of starters, mains and desserts, accompanied by your choice of creative mocktails, sinful sips or sparkling. Begin with a classic White Tomato Soup, followed by Crispy Fried Whitebait with lemon mayonnaise and Grilled Mushroom Sticks with garlic, crushed tomatoes and parsley toast.
Mains feature a sublime Mushroom Risotto with parmesan wafers; Chicken Kiev with buttered spinach and sautéed mushrooms in a luscious French butter sauce; and a delectable Duck Leg Confit, served atop a waffle, with a fried hen’s egg and a maple mustard seed dressing.
Round off your “At The Table” evening brunch feast with tantalising signature desserts, including a portion of the timeless Vanilla Crème Brûlée with crisp almond snaps and servings of Red Berry Eton Mess.
