A Japanese street-food concept, Akiba Dori opens its doors at the new JBR development, Pavilion at The Beach

Craving modern Japanese street-food? Make your way to the newly-opened Akiba Dori at Pavilion at The Beach in the buzzing JBR district. Paying tribute to the style and lights of the Akihabara district in Tokyo, the new location is the brand’s third home in the UAE, with the other two being in Dubai Design District and Yas Bay.

The latest Akiba Dori outpost welcomes discerning diners to indulge in scrumptious bites amidst striking interiors, starring rich reds and gold highlights; a nod to the restaurant’s classic modern storefront aesthetic and styling. The colours are complimented by plush wood and marble tables, all tied together by a central statement bar.

Look forward to a range of exclusive Akiba Dori concoctions, paired with the restaurant’s signature street-food and pizza, including a selection of new numbers such as Salmon ceviche and Tuna tartare. All-time favourites still reign on the menu, with classics such as the Akiba rock shrimps, Chicken katsu curry and the Lotus cheesecake, Akiba’s homemade dessert topped with lotus garnish.

For the pizza enthusiasts, Akiba Dori offers unique Tokyo-style pizzas that are prepared in a Japanese wood-fire oven using Japanese dough, topped with Neapolitan ingredients – blending the two styles to bring diners a true Tokyo-style Neapolitan pizza.
