As the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix races in to the UAE for the tenth year, we’ve compiled a collection of foodie favourites to check out if you’re in the capital this weekend.


Cipriani Yas Island

The renowned terrace area and simple timeless interiors at this Italian eatery provide a luxurious, unparalleled ambiance for upscale celebrations.

With Cipriani Truffle Season in full, visitors can taste Italian cuisine topped with fresh, rich White Truffles exclusively sourced from Italy. Guests can further indulge in Cipriani’s favourite à la carte cuisine, based on traditional family recipes, and dedicated to true authentic taste throughout.

Returning for a consecutive year by popular demand, acclaimed DJ Andrea will be spinning throwback crowd pleasers, a mix of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s classics daily, from 11pm into the night.

Need to know: Cipriani is open between the 22nd to 25th November 2018 from 12:00am until 3:00am.All bookings are for a limited period of 2 hours at the table – minimum spend of AED 1,400 per guest.

The Scene

UK celebrity chef Simon Rimmer is famously known for creating British classics with twists and truly gave that a platform at The Scene in Dubai.

Now, he is adding more strings to the bow with The Scene YAS carrying across his favourite foundations of British gastro food based in Pier 7, as well as adding exciting new elements.

There will also be live acoustic music during race weekend, making it the ideal spot for grand prix guests and families to gear up for the excitement ahead.

Need to know: The Scene YAS will be open between8am – 4am over the race weekend. Breakfast will be served from AED 49 (8am – 12pm), and regular à la carte will be served from 12pm. No charge for entry; no F1 or concert ticket needed to gain access.

Mr Miyagi’s

Everyone’s favourite Asian party boy, Mr. Miyagi, is taking the party scene to a new level in YAS marina and taking all your favourite nights down for a spin on the track.

The infamous Lady’s & Boys night with live karaoke can now be found at YAS Marina, alongside cabaret shows and Thai bucket bars and Wok & Roll brunch with more games, entertainment & more to ‘wok up’ your week.

Need to know: Mr Miyagi’s will be open from 12pm – 5am. No F1 ticket is required to gain access, but high tables and booths for 6 – 8 people require a minimum spend starting from AED 2500.

The Village at Le Meridien Abu Dhabi

Ever wanted to experience the adrenalin of a real Formula 1 race? Well, now you can!

For a dining experience with additional fun, guests can take part in the 2018 simulator challenge at Le Meridien Abu Dhabi and win the Ultimate F1 Experience. The competition is open to all members on first come first serve basis.

Beat the lap times and refuel at The Village with a special 20% discount on food and beverages with the presentation of your Grand Prix F1 ticket, in addition to the daily drink of the dayat AED 25. Happy hour runs until 8pm at Captain’s Arms and NRG Sport Bar in The Village, and serves as the ideal spot to gather with your friends for the big race weekend.

Need to know: The fastest lap time will win an exciting F1 Experience and even go head to head against Valtteri Bottas in the simulators! The experience is free, but an F1 ticket is required to avail the 20% discount on food and beverages. Open from 6pm to 1am over race weekend.
